snap, crackle, POP!

I wanna start this post with something super cheesy like,
All because two people fell in love…
 but I won’t so don’t worry.

I spent an afternoon with the Waltons last week and we took some new family pics.
I decided to share a picture from last years shoot. I so did not want to even post this but it’s a good reminder of what’s changed for me in the last 8 months.
Luckily, I’ve learned a lot!
Please keep in mind my disclaimer at the side of my blog. I am not a professional picture taker. I don’t claim to be one by any stretch of the imagination. I’m just enjoying taking pictures more then I’ve enjoyed something in a long time.

Who wouldn’t enjoy this? I think that’s why picture takings the new and hottest thing out there. So I’m a band wagoner. Deal with it. If you want my opinion everyone invest in a camera and hop right on. It’s a party bus and it’s loads of fun!
So I do hope you like what you see, especially you Ash and your fam? Adorable!
“Hi. I’m Mr. Adorable. How are you today?”

warning: steamy picture ahead!

Seriously when Ash put this bow tie on Wyatt I went bananas!  And the shoes? I die!
haha (rachel zoe-isms there. I love her.)

Dear Ash. You as so ridiculously pretty.

“Oh hey everyone. Mr. Adorable again just checking in to make sure your smilin!”
So, with this being shared. I am taking pictures for all and any who like what they see on this blog. I’ve actually “booked” my first wedding this summer. I can’t reveal who they are yet cuz technically they aren’t even engaged yet but I’m super excited!
So if your interested please feel free to email me under contact info and I’ll be happy to let you know prices and availability.

  • Kristy Kay - Hey! Dont think you know me… I’m one of Ashley’s friends from her ward. Just wanted to comment on your little disclaimer. I just bought my first SLR about 3 months ago and last min signed up for full time 5 week photography class one friday after noon that started the following monday. I had just been looking to take a basic night class a couple times a week and saw the fast track option and decided to go for it! I was sooooo nervous to be in a class of people who had been using SLR cameras for years. Truth of it is lots of the people in the class weren’t near as good as i thought they would be. Some of the other girls and I were trying to decide what a “professional” Photographer really was. We decided it really doesn’t matter if you have gone to school or anything. You really become a good photographer by practicing and finding your own style. So much of the stuff we are learning doesn’t even matter. For our generation its all about breaking the rules and coming up with something beautiful and different. I think you are way better at that than a good part if not most of the “pro” photographers out there. Beautiful pictures! Good luck with your photography not that you need it! 🙂 And if you check out any of the pictures on my blogs please dont judge…lol… I’m new at it and haven’t had a chance to post much lately.ReplyCancel
