Most weekends I enjoy a Friday night all to myself where I can actually have some down time and then Saturday morning I sleep through the entire morning. I love it! Then I got the “chance” (you’ll get this pun soon enough) to hang out with some friends this past weekend. It was so great! Katie and Chance both were in town. Friday we went to Jonas’ Restaurant which is a Hungarian restaurant downtown. Chance was seriously in heaven! He lived two years in Hungary so I guess eating the food just made him feel like he was there again. He also got to speak Hungarian with our waitress which was pretty exciting for him too. It was interesting food. It was yummy but just interesting. Cabbage rolls and yogurt cucumbers and popcorn twist pasta interesting.
Saturday morning we had one of my all time fav breakfasts. It’s my fav probably cuz it’s more like dessert!
One of the best parts was Katie actually let me take some pics of her. She was a little scared at first…
But, then we had a talk and I told her it’s just like rippin off a band-aid. Just do it! And….
THIS happened. Isn’t she stupid pretty? That means soooo amazingly gorgeous!
It was such a fun weekend despite the fact I had a horrendous cold and literally was going through kleenexes like nobodies business! My nose is still sore. I told them I wanted some shots of us all before we left so these are our attempts.

Ohh oh i’m almost in the shot. It reminds me of getting pictures in a photo booth. I was always the one who was so concerned my face wasn’t in the shot so I trample on everyone else to make sure I’m IN the shot. You’ll see me eventually shove myself over.

Guess what? All these pictures were my first to shoot in RAW which I now LOVE! The only picture I touched in photoshop was the black and white shot. Everything else was just adjusted in adobe camera RAW which I still got lots to learn about but I can’t wait. I also can’t wait for the day when I learn to just keep blinking when looking at my computer screen. It’s a bad bad habit and my eyes now hurt real bad.
