Well today Brooke announced the winner. Unfortunately the name scrawled across the screen was not, LEAH LACEY. I was bummed of course but this weekend I had some other exciting news. If you follow me regularly you may notice the occasional I heart faces entries I do. Well remember this entry?
It won! Sorta, haha. Angie and Amy are the two photographers who started and run this site. Every week they pick their favorite pictures that didn’t make the top ten that the guest photographer judge picked but pictures that they still liked and this pictures was one of them! I was/am pretty stinkin excited! Go here to check out the post!
So I figured it’s finally time to get some more pictures from this shoot up here on the blog. This was an adventure. I went down to visit over family day weekend and then we decided to go take pictures Sunday afternoon. Well long story short I botched about 98% of the pictures with my shutter speed. It was waaaay to slow. I could sit and explain my reasonings behind the ruined pictures but it’s a long story and you probably don’t want to hear it. Even though I think it’d make me feel better? Ok ok I’ll tell you. I shot in aperture mode when normally I shoot in Manual and since I shot in aperature my camera had control of my shutter speed and I wasn’t even checking it to see how low it got and well, it got too low. Ahhh, yes I feel much much better now.
So Monday, we went out for round two!
I also ♥ feet too.
Guess what, these pictures will all come in a full post tomorrah! Can’t wait!
